Lauren Springer is a plantswoman, both for pleasure and by profession. She holds a master’s degree in horticulture and has worked in public gardens on both sides of the Atlantic.
She designed the new Water-Smart Garden at Denver Botanic Gardens, her writing has won three awards from the Garden Writers’ Association of America, and the American Horticultural Society named The Undaunted
Garden one of the 75 best American gardening books of the century. She divides her time between untold number of plants, 4 dogs, 2 horses, 11 cats, 3 children, and 1 husband. The Undaunted Garden is Lauren’s first book with Fulcrum Publishing; Passionate Gardening, coauthored by Rob Proctor, is her second.
