David Gruber has dined at more than 900 restaurants in Colorado. He previously self-published his restaurant guide through four editions under the pseudonym Benjamin James Bennis. A former teacher of mathematics and accounting, he worked as an auditor and accountant for the state of Colorado before becoming a one-man book operation, writing, publishing, distributing, and tirelessly promoting his restaurant guides. He and his wife, Linda, live in Denver.
